Rewind the Hands of Time!

That’s why we thought we’d share a few quick (and easy!) tips to turn back the clock. From your head to your toes there are simple tricks you can do to keep yourself looking youthful.

  • Teeth: Yellow teeth are not attractive. A lot of powerful whitening strips can be bought over the counter today, or ask your dentist their own recommendations. Your brighter smile will make you wonder why it took you so long to take action.
  • Hair: Changing your hair color is a fun way to feel like a completely new you! Subtle color changes that are close to your natural hue can help you feeling youthful and updated.
  • Makeup: There are so many make-up tips, tricks and products, so why not utilize them and have fun with it all? Makeup is truly an art form. Ask our professional makeup artist at Skin NV, Carly, to show you how the right shades and techniques can freshen you up!
  • Lips: One simple rule – Don’t go dark. Dark hues can age you and look brash against your skin. Keep your pout looking kissable with creamy, glossy, natural hues that compliment your skin tone.
  • Hydrate: Cut back on the alcohol and drink lots of H2o!
  • Don’t Smoke: There is enough hard scientific evidence that smoking is harmful and causes deep lines around the lips, as well as broken capillaries.
  • Don’t Squint: Keeping your eyes healthy with prescription contacts, or glasses (if needed) is a must, and EVERYONE should wear sunglasses – they’re a great accessory!
  • Diet: We blog about healthy eating tips and foods frequently, but we’ll say it again…fruits, veggies, lean proteins, fish, nuts and whole grains. Eat up.
  • The Gym: Exercise increases blood flow to your skin and other organs and increases your mood! We know it can be hard to motivate yourself, but you have to admit your never mad post-gym….
  • De-stress: Stress is never in style.
  • Sleep: The saying “beauty sleep” exists for a reason. Do yourself a favor and let your body get the rest it deserves.
  • Limit sun exposure: SPF, hat, SPF, sunglasses, SPF…did we mention SPF?
